also... i find it interesting that man, even the man seeking all power, want to create something that is outside their control, so in the end they would have to surrender to the unknown... subconsciously they might actually want to lose control but only to a supreme being AND who said that we ABSOLUTELY need to prevent a tool that has more power than human kind. I mean, if this super intelligence would decide we need to parish, well that is up to the super being. Like even right now it's not up to us, if it would be "decided" maybe just one by one, but we all are going to perish even without superAI. So if this being decides to put an end to human kind then we can start a fresh simulation...no? why not? easier than for everyone to be looking inside of themselves and fixing their traumas and malfunctions, looking into their fears and let down their learned defence mechanism or machiavellian trades... no? Good man might know AI security but also might have a lack of understanding economic equality and that people can be easily exploited, even if they are working hard, or being useless at their job... he has a strange set of believes that in my humble opinion don't fit together whatsoever... also if we all will have no jobs why still this strange attachment of value and productivity, that surely he must understand is not that simple and one directional... IF there is a supreme being that is creating this simulation, why cling to life like that? It does not make an sense! You are a pun in the game why think you need to control the game, if you by desing never will be able to? And yes there are people who are not depressed or somehow lacking that would wish to die at some point, or any point, come on, what is this argument, no one wants to die. Seems like a few people REALLY don't want to die, and are bending the rules of this reality to prevent their immanent death.
