Karen Hao will/has run across the same issues many of us have had which is (basically) two fold... One. The first is that you will barely know the names of the people that are pivotal in burgeoning technology regardless of your research as it takes years for information to "emerge" (ex. Bill Gates/Tim Patterson & Steve Jobs/Wozniak) and second when you began to expose the looser's that are often called geniuses you will likely be drowned out as the understanding of complex subjects regardless of analogy will be lost by obfuscated naming conventions, terminological overlap, Corporate Branding rebranding along with contextual confusion among other things. But given how she brings realistic observation in an environment that has Avoidance Orientation. She will likely be polarized as taking a political objective or national one regardless of her attempt to avoid taking either. At minimal anti-corporate, or (pause) perhaps labels scare me and Im projecting .... lol but it's something to look out for.. *eyes emoji* But perhaps like Aaron was saying "business leaders are what they really are" On the subject of talent ... I agree with Mrs. Hao that it was a sense of mission that brought talent (like the same way she was convinced that she'd be solving problems and not making new ones), and it was the best way to bring talent without using money as a focus (but principle or philosophy is far more enticing and a more ambiguous way to win friends and influence people). Kinda like a manager that steals from you but virtue signals with random gifts from time to time.... so you think they are a nice person, but nope. However I think she's wrong about the (open to private ) conversion..... they were about to oust him so he forked it (I hope you git that joke)... lol I adore Karens' Brain (ideological structure) and her clarity in communication and also that she's not pushed around like the technophobic are or intimidated by wealth in a way that makes her fold into it, so it's great to see how her stories have gained prominence over the years. And I hope she continues to see things as they are, in full... one note... a key element to having a large tech company in the US is that it can be a nice place to hide debt. for the US.... *wink* which I think this all comes down too... unfortunately.. ~Aaron (thats a conversation you will have with someone sometime soon...
