I think that facial recognition technology should be available for "everyday people." I encounter "troublemakers" on a weekly basis, and I want to know their names, so that I can report them to law enforcement. Right now, someone who commits a crime in front of you, doesn't have to give you their name. Facial recognition technology circumvents a suspect's desire for anonymity.
