Just pattern recognition? Hello, your entire life is pattern recognition. Your brain is a collection of inputs stored, retrieved, and synthesized in insanely bizarre chemical patterns to generate outputs. Give AI exponentially more input than what one brain, or a million brains, could manage and eventually it starts to crack that insanely bizarre chemical code. Being human is not all that special when you look at the big picture. Interpretation, creativity, meaning making will soon be child's play for AI. Time to get over how special you are, Ramesh.
