There is a serious lack of economic fluency in all these AI doomsday discussions. People are only looking at the jobs that are transitioning and not evaluating the other side of the equation what so ever. The lower costs of production of goods and services that benefits everyone, including those having to look for other work. The new jobs that are going to come about from people looking for work or to start companies with cheaper labor from this economic restructuring. Changing jobs is part of life. Almost no one goes through life never having to change jobs. You evolve, you learn, you carry forward, and in 10 years, it's likely you'll be better off, either making more money or paying less for the same level of services and quality of goods.
