The funny thing is that art poisoning is used more to hide ai art detection rather than protect art. Overall it's a new era and a total goddamn train wreck with no good solutions in sight. We have big corporations involved and tiny individual technicians that want to do stuff and everyone else between the tw. No poisoning is perfect. The most prevalent poisoning so far has been watermarks from istock, signatures patron logos, and I have seen those in a while when I browse through stuff people are directing. The with big Corpos like Adobe for example has an auto scraper as you draw the art, and it won't stop there as Microsoft and others looks for ways to shove ai into your life and industry and track your every click and mouse stroke. Commercializing it in a way so OG artist get money per generation would be ideal until you involve someone like Disney, Sony and Nintendo. Then there are some creatives folks out there that don't have the talent or time to put everything they're thinking of onto presentable work and it's a vain dream too far away. To those kinds of artists become a brush to their mind's canvas. Sitting beside them are ai artists who go beyond simple prompt dirrcting using many of the same tools og artist use to brush and enhance and create complex workflows that would rival a full price traditional art work sometimes. Just sadly AI can be taught the end result and start to cheapen the process. And final problem is the recursive apocalypse. Where ai trains ai for generations and like clones it will degrade over time. As horrible lower quality generates become the majority of the content over carefully curated pieces and og art, Ai will soon have no choice but to "genetically' destabilize.
