This is the power of AI art. Those people made art in response to it. I use AI art exclusively to help myself develop my ideas and never post or sell the prompt image. Its a tool qnd it has capabilities that extend those of artist. Ai prompts need extreme specificity. If you are knowledgeable enought to prompt and ai using the elements of art and principles of design to generate something that is a near exact copy of what is in your mind, that makes you an artist. But it doesnt mean the image the ai generated is art. Use your mind, your body, your soul and your wisdom when making art. But remember, you will never please everyone and tomorrow there may be another controversy about something else. Hold yourself accountable for what you make as an artist and remain dignified by doing the right thing. Ai art is very divisive, but I believe anything that helps someone honestly express themselves is good. I mainly dislike the people that fail to disclose if its a generated image and people who mass produce images for clout and money.
