There’s should be some pretty good ways to test if Nightshade is working or not: the inference part of the algorithm should still be subject to the same poisoning behaviors if it’s working correctly as the training portion since it’s depending on the encoder. I believe you should be able to try asking one of the AIs to edit a poisoned piece to determine if the poisoning is having an effect. A subtle change of a detail would probably be the best, I believe.
That said, I’m having a hard time finding *anyone* reporting on Nightshade or other subtle poisoning techniques in the past year.
