You might as well stand against the tide. Instead of trying to re-run the Industrial revolution why don't you and the other politicians embrace AI and let the human race finally become the Greek "Men of Leisure". AI could mean that we all live a good life with plenty, free from work, we could choose to vegetate on the couch, or embrace our free time, learn music, walk, develop games or learn to climb.
