Sounds to me like the aliens are organic robots created by AI hence the altered brain , and conglomerates of dna they are produced to physically carry out the wishes of the “God “ so to say , this ties together all the theories it is the unification theory that will prove to be true and it’s the basic play out of what is happening right now, since all three , past present and future exist all at once .
