Animals are also built from parts, ergo artificial. Assuming (!) that animals like monkeys can be intelligent at all -- the jury is out, I'd say -- all intelligence is "artificial intelligence".
It's probably not a good idea to make intelligent monkeys in the first place, after seeing how it turns out -- the additional problem of artificial silicon intelligence is really just still that same problem of clever, if not intelligent, monkeys running the planet
