I hate how tiktok made aphantasia trendy to so many young ppl. (Along with other stuff, like mental disorders, neuro-types and so on... all of that while young person is also struggling to find out own personality type, sexuality... gender... a name, a real mental age and what not. And from time to time,,, he kinda mixes up 2 of those. And then mental disorder becomes into a personality type which everyone should respect). There is just so many labels. And algorithms make sure you remember those labels and stay loyal to them. And okay if those tiktok videos were made by professionals who are more informed about it than avarage internet user. But unfortunately... nope. Children are exposed to such information from other young people (and those young people for the most are not there to help, but to gain views with a fun fact of the day) Thankfully when I discovered aphantasia,,, it wasnt from a random bot tiktoker who wants to get views, but by an artist who already worked hard on own skill, got to art college... but found it curious on why ppl are talking so much about imagination there in a way different way compared to hers. A young person shouldn't get discouraged at such young age, they should wish to improve, to learn day by day... without albeist rhetoric. Don't take whatever your tiktoker is saying... go to professional and consult about it
