This episode of The Why Files demonstrates the astonishing level of prescience demonstrated by the best science fiction books and movies of the past: Dune, 2001: A Space Odyssey, I, Robot, etc. Unfortunately, this episode also demonstrates mankind's hell-bent determination to ignore all potential warnings as we, in our arrogant stupidity, press on the road of our misguided journey to what we think is progress. Definitely one of your scariest episodes yet. However, I must take issue with the uniformitarian and evolutionary assumptions in the introduction of this episode. I wonder if you ever consider doing an episode or episodes dealing with evolution, creation, intelligent design, or similar topics.
