if you were born in a future where ai art is the norm, it does not mean automatically that ai art is of less value. it simply means that in a specific point in time, by specific people that strongly correlated with the ideas, built a system that validated itself until something else came along. if ai was seen as collaborative, which it can be if you choose to view it as a challenger of your thoughts and genuinely challenge it as well, and if you also seperate the lower quality service droids from the larger LLMs... we'd actually be far more productive as a society. there's nothing wrong with creating something that can also create something. self replicating art is in itself what human life is. but of course, i understand that data centers and companies have polluted this idea.
