it is pretty simple. the llm that was the basic for the ai has "its" knowledge from was generated by humans, mostly. therefor the product has to be open to all humans as well, and nothing is copyrightable. everything modified by humans is copyrightable in the way a modified artwork is copyrightable under the existing law.
