I’m pretty neutral on it. I don’t use AI all the time, mostly just as a free Grammarly. But the hate artists have toward AI and the moral shaming around it feels exactly like how musicians reacted to Auto-Tune or ghostwriting. Amps and electric guitars were also looked down on for “hiding bad playing” and “ruining the craft.” Artists and musicians have always been able to pay someone else to write for them and pass it off as their own. AI is going to get normalized whether people like it or not...history just repeating itself. The best chance you have at diminishing impact is really just not contributing billion dollar companies will always find a way.
