The end goal of AI and automation is that we will have 1 % of the population owning all factories and food producing land , run by robots , AI and 5 % of the population. Protected by 10 % of the population that will be employed in security. Production will be heavily reduced , to allow lavish lifestyles for the 1 % owning , and decent life for the few still working. The 85 % left owning nothing ? Slums , and being compltely at the mercy of the 1 %. A whole world for the elite to do whatever they want.
It is in effect more sustainable , the elite doesn't want the avergae joe having a car and using fuel, a finite ressource, that the elite wants to use ad vitam aeternam for jets , yatchs and whatnot. Same with every other ressource.
Imagine the power those elites would have on the 85 %. Life and death. Oh and also , they could buy people from that 85% , beautiful women , little boys , organs , everything for some scraps.
Seems like a tinfoil hat theory ? Does it seems less realistic than the elite owning everything being generous and deciding to share ?
