A bachelor's degree should mean more and have more value. One thing that has stood out to me as someone who has one and has over a decade of experience in the world since, most of the classes "required" for your degree are wasted nonsense to check a box. I'd argue that a good 75% of the classes I was required to take are not something I use or something that stands out to me in my day to day job.
Furthermore, there are plenty of jobs if you know where to look. We talk about all these jobs where AI is displacing people but they tend to be in the roles that are emphasized and shouldn't be, such as corporate or tech type positions. Meanwhile jobs in trades, among others industries and disciplines, have a huge staffing shortages and will nearly take anyone they can get and are often still short staffed. There are lots of good paying jobs out there but you have to know where to look.
