Ultimately AI art represents the faulty notion that art is ultimately ideas by humans, that what's best is to have as much art as possible by way of having machines do the rendering of art instead.
Part of art for me is the fact multiple people (in animation) overcame themselves and as professionals fit human-made artwork to requirements to make a larger piece that only one person couldn't make by themselves.
Any involvement of AI spoils the project.
