As someone who works in IT and is also an artist, its fuggin miserable. Every company wants to implement AI in ways to 'make our jobs easier' when the truth is theyre just wanting to replace people to decrease costs, cause the main place businesses try to trim cost is from the bottom up. So I work with a bunch of tech bros slobbing the AI knob and are too dumb to realize that theyre the ones on the bottom rung whos gonna be losing their jobs once the tech is advanced enough to replace them. They constantly spam our slack with AI pics and as someone who was a freelance artist for 10 years it kills me to see it constantly.
