Speaking as a writer (not the same thing as this I'm aware), but I've always made the argument that anyone can write, they just need the motivation to actually do it.
You don't need a galaxy brain to think of an idea, you just need an idea and get to work. Your first story won't be the best thing you've ever written, but it can certainly lead you to more ideas down the line.
Anyone who uses AI to write the story for them are either cheaters or scammers
