Every time you've ever done a Captcha, you're giving free machine learning to corporate AI. Machines are kind of bad at finding certain objects, like cars in a photo with a bunch of trees and fences. But humans can pick out these details, so when it asks you to click on four pictures with a bus, even if the machine can't see the bus in the distance it begins to just trust humans constantly saying it's there, and thus it starts looking harder until it sees the bus too. It's also learning how wrong humans can be, it can become so smart that it can know an image has a bus in it, but notices many people don't click it, and thinks on why that is. Literally training an AI in understanding the world, as well as our habits, our weaknesses, as it enhances its strengths.
