I agree with most of what you said, but I also disagree with some of it. Asmongold isn't clowning on artists because they're "suckers" he's clowning on them to comment on the inherent unfairness of the world we live in... in a very tasteless way. Second, even if the companies offering access to image-generators wanted to give that access for free, there is still the cost of servers and infrastructure that they need to pay for to make that possible, and one could argue that's their main business model. Third, you're responding to a very small minority with a full feature-length essay. Most people understand the value of human art, and that ai art is slop, so dedicating this much effort to refuting an unpopular opinion makes it seem like their viewpoint has more legitimacy than it deserves. Great points overall and very entertaining to watch! Addendum: The argument of piracy isn't very convincing to me. You could say a let's-player is "stealing" an artist's work and benefiting from it by playing that game on their channel, but it has been shown that this is actually very mutually beneficial for both parties as the artist gains exposure and more revenue. Just look at The Binding of Isaac as an example. I would love if my style was trained and re-created because it would bring a larger audience to me and get my name out. The only way this argument doesn't convince you is if you believe that people will not support the original if they don't have to, which is a very cynical view of humanity.
