this was a very comforting take for me personally. I’m an artist, and it’s always the biggest downer when people in my circle or artists I follow stop creating art, cause they get all doomed about the future of ai. cause “whats the point?” no matter how tough it gets you should still create art anyways, because you love making it. I could never stop making art because the process is the most enjoyable part. generative ai ‘art’ can’t replace that.
