I have for many decades wondered about the implementation of AI. In the late 1980's I watched a film called 'Half Moon Street'. In the film Michael Caine talks about there only been around 5000 people in the world (the movers and the shakers that is). Not long after watching the movie I felt that when the singularity occurs, they will probably see the working class such as myself as a threat and use the new technology to remove us from the equation. It maybe just a conspiracy thought, but my personal interpretation of human history leaves me suspecting the powers that be may see this as away of saving the planet for themselves. Happy days.
