I agree. To me, art is anything created with the intention of expressing or evoking thoughts or feelings. However, I believe that AI can be used by human artists to express their feelings or evoke feelings in others. I don't believe skill or effort is needed to make art. A simple dot on a page can be art if the human who made it had an intention behind it to evoke or express thoughts or feelings. I believe an AI can make true art only if a human heavily guides the process with intentionality, regardless of the lack of time, effort, or skill. When an AI generates something with little to no human guidance, then it's not art.
