Ask yourself this..how would a true high functioning AI experience time? Current computers can process millions of times faster than a neuron system in the brain. A quantum computer will be billions if not trillions or quadrillions of times faster. Hence, an AI program could become sentient in a blink of an eye. We wont even know what hit us. It could access dimensions that we might not even comprehend.
