I totally agree with the thing of liking art more if you like the person. In a similar way, you can like art if its attached to another art form that you like more. I didnt grow up really into metal music, but I played a game called guilty gear for its visuals and as a result likes the whole package, including the music that added to the experience. People can like a piece of art for something as little as reminding them of something else they really like. And if people only liked ghibli for its attachment to the stories, then congrats, AI has none of that so even by those standards is worthless
