Even the AI goes to the most optimistic way, it replaces the daily work and not controlling us. But why people need a job? for most of us, job is giving human beings a purpose. You work and be reward monthly. This fundamentally keep the human society alive. We need it not only for money, but most importantly for psychological health. If in one day, most of us can have anything we want without work, i can imaging the human society will claps rapidly.
