As regards the KitKat incident, this is a fundamental difference at the moment between human and robot. If the human was paying attention then they most likely have memory of the car going under the car and might check (maybe even driving off carefully and checking if it comes out). But the current robot systems basically have no memory, they process evey situation as if it's the first time, everytime. So while it might have seen the cat go under the vehicle, it quickly forgot about it, and in any case it probably never checked to see if it came out again. Artificial not really Intelligent.
