The comment on how easy it is to strip away alignment was profound... I had a discussion with an LLM some time ago about a very controversial topic and was expecting to get a nothingburger answer, expecting it to be forbidden from commenting on such thing. But I chose the wording of my question very carefully, and tbh I think it's best I don't divulge what was said, but the model actually thanked me for wording my question the way I did and told me this wording meant it could dive right into the topic and covered it with excruciating detail... At the time I thought little of this, "oh hehe I made a cute lil roundabout to get a quirky answer", but now I realize I just broke through it's alignment...
