AI ‘Art’ prompting is like asking a friend to draw a particular cityscape for you, and then preceding to claim the finished artwork as yours. YOU didn’t draw the cityscape, at best you gave guidelines and some feedback.
Short of submitting literal ASCII art into the prompt bar, specificity can only bring you so far, and most of the creative decisions of composition, arrangement, form, depth, and so on are made by the AI, not by the prompter. Regardless of what the ending ownership of the art is (which is it’s own debate), it’s the AI that did the legwork of actually creating the art, not the person who typed the prompt(s).
