i also used to think art was something i just couldnt persue because i wasnt born good enough at it. which feels so weird to say because i actually was born very talented in art compared to my peers, but i still didnt feel like i was good enough. it was actually when i started watching LavenderTowne that i learned that art is a skill that you can learn, not just something you have to be born good at. i learned what a sketch and lineart was for the first time. still now years later, with so many artists i follow and admire, i come back to this channel where it all started. this was all before ai generating was a widespread thing. its so sad to know people now who are going through the same thing are being lied to like this by huge corporations that just want money
