What’s not mentioned in the video is the fact that university students nowadays rely so heavily on AI to get good grades and they come out with less knowledge compared to people that actually had to grind for it back then. I’ve interviewed so many Gen Z undergrad interns with 4.0 gpa and it’s mind blowing that some of them even got into a university. Unless the courseware gets significantly redesigned we’d be basically awarding AI with university degrees all over the place. But of course this doesn’t apply to all degrees, there are still many areas where AI isn’t very good at.
