For me personally, art is only as valuable as it is evocative. That is to say, the more/deeper feeling I get from observing a piece of art, the more valuable to me. I very rarely find value in Ai made imagery though, and it's because anything it's evocative of is something I've seen before and often better. That's not to say I haven't seen Ai images that didn't make me feel something, but they were often from early more experimental models of Ai software and still had human supervision. It's almost funny to me how, as this technology advances, I find it less and less appreciable, like sanding off all the rough edges, leaving it nothing but featureless and generic
