A human uses 2 eyes for driving. Does anyone asks what if it rains or snow is falling?
What if on a Lidar vehicle the Lidar is broken? Or the cameras are obstructed? It will discontinue autonmous driving. So here we are.
Lidar and a full stack of multiple sensors is way to expensive for a huge car fleet or for everyday cars. Only for dedicated Robotaxi fleet.
Tesla is doing great and proved it across the US and EMEA at different weather conditions.
Human drivers doing accidents. Thats normal. Robotaxis doing accidents. But less than human. Doesn' t matter if they are called Waymo or Tesla or Nvidia.
