If even half of predictions about AI come true, that's definite grounds for establishing a Universal Basic Income. Say, $40K/yr per "worker". The US bilionaires, 942 of them, have a collective net worth of about $6.6Tn. Let's be very generous and allow them to have $1B and not a penny more. That's 6.6Tn - 942Bn = $5.67Tn . That, divided by 40K/yr, is 141.9 Million people (the number who get 40K/yr). Note well that billionaires can still have their first billion - plenty for their family to live on for several generations (including descendants).
