The airplane didn't replace the car. The battery didn't replace wired electricity. Excel didn't replace accountants. And AI is not going to replace your job. Please, hear me when I say, we are all going to be fine, we are all going to live a better life and enjoy greater standards of living with what AI provides. As a person who works with AI everysingle day, and has.. for a few years now. What I know to be true is the majority of people have such a limited understanding of what it is and how it works that they are not even aware this exact same technology has been around for over a decade now. AI and Machine Learning will truly make a difference, but not in the gloom and doom way people keep claiming. We have increased diagnostic accuracy in healthcare, we can more closely monitor water useage in commercial farming, we have incredible early detection capabilities emerging for natural disaster early warning systems, but somehow we keep coming back to the belief this is going to end all humanity. This prognostication of AI gloom and doom, is nothing different than the Nvidia and Microsoft over hype of the state of the technology. They are both entire shadow industries making money off of your fear and interest. Nvidia and Microsoft NEED you to believe AI is so perfect right now you just cannot pass it up and you need to spend billions of dollars with their company, and many content creators NEED you to believe the end is nigh so you will continue to stay plugged into their every waking comment. There are still human beings on this planet that do not use electricty and they live a very happy and normal life. Technological improvements happen every day, and AI is not even the one with the greatest potential, but it does have a bright future and I see great things happening RIGHT NOW every day because of it. When you are worried about something, just study it, learn it, and understand how it operates. This will do more for your mental health than anything else. Have a wonderful deay everyone =)
