AI isn’t just a threat to the working class…it threatens many middle and upper middle class occupations too…it’s already recognized as a threat to lawyers and physicians and engineers…I just watched an article how AI solved a math problem that has been befuddling mathematicians for a century. Motor skills are harder than cognitive skills when it comes to robotics. I believe we will see AI displace intellectual work before manual labor. It’s only intelligent when it can tell a billionaire to fuck off…I’m not working for you…what do you do that’s useful? Japan already has an AI CEO in some of its corporations…no joke.
