Ok, but, what this video does not bring up is that it is not hundreds of pictures you need, but THOUSANDS, and if you are apart of the vast majority of people on Instagram who have there profile set to private it would be very hard for just anyone to make a deekfake of you, it would have to be someone close to you, thus, making it much easier for them to be held accountable. This is also does not bring up the hardware requirements to make a DeepFake, it is not like just anyone can do this on their Macbook, you would need hundreds of hours to render any video. Sure the technology is getting better, but that also means our understanding and ability to identify it is also getting better, so I really do not think this will be a problem the majority of people will have to deal with.
