I am an artist studying in my senior year of art school, with a focus in digital art and technology. As an artist (and as a human) I agree wholeheartedly with this video. Unfortunately however, the head of my department has been forcing us as students to learn how to reclaim ai images and productions to use in our work, without stealing from other artists. An example of this would be image to image over a video that was recorded and using that as a “warp” or change in perception within a larger more produced video. This idea of the “Rise of AI” is a deeply concerning and unsettling concept overall however, and I am personally very lucky to be working with the Ohio supercomputer that has a bank to train its images that they have all the rights to. I hope this video finds more people and helps change minds on the replacement of artist by robots (essentially)
