This will backfire badly. High unemployment means people have no money to spend, so companies which saved on staff by using AI will not be able to sale or find customers. This is a change reaction. High unemloyment = people not buying cars, not going to holidays, not buying cloth, not going to restaurants and so on. So the AI will destroy the society. A stupid move! Unless a universal salary to sustain people is introduced.
