I've been in the game a long time. Long enough to see 3D come onto the scene, and I remember when even 3D was taboo and stigmatized as not real art. Now look. The reality is, AI art isn't going anywhere. It's a tool to actually enable artists to remove the company. Imagine a world where one artist can create a film, a video game, or a entire book; in weeks. The real magic is in the idea, and that idea is still in the hands of the artist. The thing everyone needs to remember is we as artist when we are young copy others to learn - many even tracing other artists. This is the same. The only difference is that an artist can use this automated method to make a product now. Before an illustrator or digital artist was just a puppet - a person on a team that needed everyone to create the product - then the producer or gallery owner took the lions share of money with them - even the awards in many cases. This technology will remove that middle man - All the artists here, I get it - it's scary, but the reality is this tech will empower you.
