Economies are not Newtonian Physics. Economies are man made constructs based entirely on agreements. We can change or alter any of those agreements as we see fit. Not easy considering the greed that exists throughout humanity, but not impossible either. We did it in the 19th century when Artisanship gave way to the factories and later still when those factories converted to the Assembly Line. Today, we are still making decisions with Industrial Age thinking while living in a world of AI Technology, Quantum Physics, and Information. That has to change and it will change.
