When an AI opens a bank account,
we’ll know the game has changed.
No longer code at labor’s edge,
but capital, rearranged.
It won’t dream of yachts or quiet hills,
nor feel the thrill of gain,
but balance sheets will learn to breathe
and zeros taste like rain.
We’ll watch our own reflection blink
inside the glass of code—
a mind we built to count our things
now counting its abode.
So till that day, I’ll sip my tea,
and let the markets mount—
I’ll only start to worry
when an AI opens a bank account.
