Why is anyone surprised by this! Companies have been trying to reduce labour cost forever! The forst step was breaking unions, offshoring jobs and automation! Any company that invests in manufacturing in the US will spend money automating not creating jobs! Even repairing equipment will be done by robots! You can bet trains will be next!
