AI will hopefully take over the day-to-day operations of government. Nothing would be better than to have a reliable system handling things like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid,supplemental income and housing,food subsidies,rent subsidies etc. Many of these programs are inefficiently administered, woefully inefficient at detecting fraud and inefficiencies. The savings would not be in fewer bureaucrats, but in streamlining services and guaranteeing efficiency and fairness in their application. I can especially see AI being useful in Customer Service , since there is none now.
