It becomes a problem when using AI art with other artists without permission to make money, to slander, or to claim someone else made it. Otherwise there is no problem. I heard this sort of song and dance back in the day when digital art programs and digital drawing pads were created. There will be a fuss, then more artists will use it to enhance their work or create original works, then everyone forgets. I just know that artists will eventually use AI with their own art to mass produce results, or to gain quick ideas, for their own benefit.
There was also a fuss over Napster and other similar places with artists for a while. Then digital streaming, which is based off of Napster like models, became a thing and artists made bank more than they would using the usual paths.
