Yes they will use AI to save money and continue underpaying the humans or simply stop offering jobs. And AI is already filling us with terrible "art" and other entertainment, so we won't even be able to be comforted with human creativity. Which wouldn't be so scary if it was feasible for most people to just own land and live off of it. But it costs so much to purchase, plus taxes, so you need income anyways. Everything is going to go downhill unless we can shift society to actually care about people more than profit.
