If AI generated images are not considered art, how should we classify them? The term: "AI slop," I think, should be reserved for low-effort, click-bait, garbage; the stuff produced without care or attention. What about projects the creator spent hours, days, or weeks trying to get right? Someone who lacks resources or artistic skill, but has a vision made possible through modern tools? Does their effort have value? Can there be an appreciation for this? What would it take for AI generated images to be worthy of appreciation, or even admiration?
